What's the minimum age to start private lessons?

Every kid is different, however there are plenty of benefits of starting at a young age. Lessons are available for kids as young as 4 years old. If your kid is younger than that and you think he or she is ready for lessons you are welcome to take a trial lesson or opt for taking the lesson with your child.

Do I need to own an instrument in order to start lessons?

Accepted Answer

Private lessons are typically 30 - 60 mins weekly, meaning that it will require practice during the week so having an instrument to practice at home is really important. However, if you are not 100% sure you want to stay with a specific instrument, a good option will be to rent it. Rentals are available through the studio.
